ACADEMIC STAFF

The College has a crop of highly educated academic staff who guide the students in their training and research. It also vigorously pursues a programme of training and re-training of its staff for greater performance.


ACCOMMODATION

Hostel accommodation is limited and will be provided for students on demand on first come first served basis. Students given hostel accommodation that do not adhere strictly to the rules and regulations laid down by the College would be expelled from the hostel.
 
     
 
                 
  LIBRARY/RESOURCE CENTRE

The College Library is well-stocked with books both in the various courses and general interest areas. The Library opens from Monday to Friday between 8.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m.
The College has a well-equipped Resource Centre with up-to-date computers, Internet facilities, audio-visual equipment, photocopiers, etc. Computer training is offered to students and the public at the Resource Centre.

 
           

CONSUMER SHOP

The College has a consumer shop where various items of Consumer goods are sold to the College Community and the public. The shop plays two important roles among others: The first role is to serve as a training ground for students on the techniques of consumer Co-operative Management by testing the principles and concepts learnt in the classroom. Thus, the shop is a blending ground of theory and practice. Every student is expected to participate in the running and management of the shop.
The second role of the Consumer shop is to provide affordable consumer goods to the College Community and the public at competitive prices. For these purposes, there is a Consumer Shop Executive Committee whose members are duly elected by the general membership which include staff members and students of the college. The committee is headed by a chairman and supported by a vice-chairman, Manager, Treasurer, Bookkeeper and 4 Ex-officio members. The students’ representatives are elected by the students' body into the executive committee.

 
GAMES AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

The College recognizes the importance of physical fitness in the mental development of students. Hence the College has such sporting facilities as football pitch, volleyball court, indoor games, etc.
